A bonus purchase pays for entry into a particular game mode. It can start free spins, a round with locked cash symbols or a single spin with a guaranteed modifier. Price is only one part of the choice: the first question is what the payment actually starts.
White Rabbit 2 offers Hold and Spin for a compact coin collection round. Max Megaways and Razor Returns offer choices of starting conditions for free spins. Money Train 3 offers a separate feature entry with persistent special-symbol effects. Judgement Day Megaways lets you pay for one modified ordinary spin without buying a free spins series.

A large payout ceiling does not make a purchase good value. The game defines how its cap works; that figure does not supply the average return of a chosen mode. The distinction between a ceiling and its probability matters especially for slots with large maximum wins.
What the payment opens
| Game | Paid option | What starts | Key distinction |
|---|---|---|---|
| Judgement Day Megaways | 10 stakes | One spin with a random horseman | This has not bought a free spins series |
| Judgement Day Megaways | 90 stakes | Three guaranteed scatters and eight free spins | The horseman effect operates in the feature |
| Money Train 3 | 100 stakes | Ordinary bonus entry | Separate from buying a persistent symbol |
| Money Train 3 | 500 stakes | Persistent Bonus with recurring effects | The extra cost buys a starting condition |
| Razor Returns | Price depends on the option | Free spins with a chosen scatter count, or a separate Razor Reveal | Free spins still need Torpedo Scatters |
Super, Enhanced and Persistent do not define standard rules across titles. Ordinary Max Megaways free spins receive two improvements, while the enhanced feature receives three. Money Train changes the starting special symbols. Razor Returns changes the triggering scatter count or starts a different feature altogether. Comparing only “standard” and “super” labels misses these differences.
Calculate the price before confirming
The cost is the base stake multiplied by the purchase coefficient. Judgement Day Megaways free spins cost €18 at a €0.20 stake. Money Train 3 Persistent Bonus costs €50 at €0.10. Raising the base stake immediately increases the entire entry price, rather than only one spin inside the feature.
With a €60 balance, the second example leaves €10 after the purchase. If the feature returns €12, the balance becomes €22: the original expense is still part of the calculation. The figure shown at the end of a feature is that round’s payout, rather than profit across the whole session.
Several attempts require adding all costs and all returns. Two €18 purchases cost €36. Returns of €4 and €20 total €24, producing a €12 loss overall. One successful round does not erase the price of the previous one.
A stake multiplier helps you read a price quickly, but the account currency still matters. A 500× entry at €0.10 and at €1 involves very different amounts of money. Slot bonus purchases require the complete charge to be included in the calculation.
Judgement Day and Razor Returns: different entries in one title
Judgement Day Megaways chooses a random horseman from four. Conquest adds wilds, War splits positions, Famine uses the sizes of two reels as multipliers and Death reveals wilds on nudged reels. Purchasing a single modifier does not let you choose the horseman in advance.
During Judgement free spins, the selected effect operates on every spin. Retriggering with three scatters adds four spins and another horseman selection. The more expensive entry therefore buys a series with recurring effects, rather than a promise of a particular cash result.
Razor Returns sells free spins entries with three, four, five or a random number of Torpedo Scatters. A separate option opens a complete screen of Razor Reveal symbols. The starting conditions differ. Choosing the random option does not guarantee the largest scatter count.
Free spins fill reels two and four with Mystery stacks that nudge down, increasing the running multiplier by one with each nudge. Razor Reveal uses cash prizes, multipliers, collectors and symbol conversion. Knowing which mechanism the payment starts avoids expecting free spins after buying a different feature.
Money Train: persistent special symbols
Alongside ordinary and Persistent Bonus, Money Train 3 offers entries with one or two starting spins. These are four different entries, rather than four names for one bonus. A reduced starting counter changes the conditions for continuing the round. For example, the Persistent Shapeshifter changes into a special feature on each spin. This is a recurring symbol effect, rather than one payment when it arrives.
A bought Money Cart Bonus in Money Train 4 starts with a guaranteed persistent special symbol. This guarantees a starting condition, rather than a payout. The result still depends on the symbols that arrive and how they interact.
Money Cart 4 is a separate game designed for markets that restrict bonus purchases. Its cap is 15,000 stakes, rather than Money Train 4’s 150,000. Familiar characters and the words Money Cart in a feature name do not make the products identical. The complete title matters when looking for a game, rather than just the train artwork.
Megaways: ordinary, enhanced and separate features
Max Megaways opens doors to reveal free spin improvements. The resulting set belongs to that particular round. An improvement that was not awarded is not part of the purchase merely because it appears among the possible choices.
Max Megaways 2 keeps ordinary and enhanced entries but changes the available improvements. Both titles sell these options for 75 and 200 base stakes. The sequel can convert a chosen symbol into wilds, whereas the original can remove the lowest symbols. Equal prices do not define equal features.
White Rabbit 2 sells Hold and Spin and free spins separately for 35 and 100 stakes. The first continues coin collection with a reset counter. The second lets Cupcakes increase reel height. These are distinct formats, rather than cheaper and dearer versions of the same round.
Fireworks Megaways sells 12 free spins for 100 stakes, while Apollo Pays sells ten for the same coefficient. Spin count alone does not tell you which purchase will return more: the games continue wins and increase multipliers differently.
Nolimit City: bonus entry versus a boosted spin
San Quentin xWays offers entries with three, four or five Bonus symbols for 100, 400 or 2,000 stakes. This changes the initial number of Jumping Wilds. The most expensive entry does not promise a maximum win at the end of the series.
San Quentin 2: Death Row also offers guaranteed scatters on an ordinary launch. These options are separate from entering Green Mile Spins directly. Two scatters still do not meet the “three or more” condition for starting the feature.
Tombstone RIP has purchases priced from 70 to 3,000 base stakes. Tombstone Slaughter offers Boosters with specified symbols on a spin as well as entries into a series. The selected option defines its conditions: a guaranteed symbol, guaranteed feature and guaranteed payout mean different things.
Push Bet is charged on each spin
Razor Returns Push Bet increases the base stake by 10% and raises the likelihood of triggering free spins. It does not start them immediately. At a €0.20 stake, each such spin costs €0.22; 50 launches cost €11 instead of €10.
The active Push Bet switch is green, while the disabled switch is grey. To disable it, first stop autoplay if enabled, then turn the mode off at the end of a round. This is useful after a feature purchase: the ordinary spin setting and the purchase are controlled separately.
Purchase RTP and regional versions
A paid entry can have its own starting conditions and RTP. The ordinary game’s overall figure cannot be applied to every mode. The relevant details are the entry name, its complete price and the return figure for that entry. A small increase in RTP does not guarantee a profitable round.
With a hypothetical purchase RTP of 96%, a €50 charge corresponds to a theoretical average payout of €48. This is an average across many entries using those conditions. One round can finish very differently. Comparing the actual payouts of two attempts does not measure RTP.
Lil’ Devil has different official RTP descriptions: 96.47% and a range of 96.31–96.43%. Neither figure alone calculates the return of an arbitrary purchase. The game version and the figures for its particular mode matter even when the title is identical.
Access depends on the operator’s market. In January 2020, Britain’s Gambling Commission reported that six operators had removed feature buy-in after checks against rules transparency and game design requirements. Nolimit City also explicitly allows purchases to be removed in some regulated markets. Switching the interface to English or Russian does not change the applicable conditions.
Demo play, account funds and casino promotions
A demo can help you understand the purchase menu, see the complete price and distinguish the mode names. Its virtual balance shows the charge and payout for the test round. It does not test bank withdrawals or establish that the same paid entry is available at every casino.
A casino promotion and a slot feature purchase are separate things. The former may award extra funds with wagering conditions. The latter charges money for a game function. If a promotion excludes feature purchases, an available game button does not override that restriction. Eligible titles and wagering contributions can also differ.
Maximum stake terms need to distinguish an ordinary spin from a purchase. If a limit applies to the full charge, a small base stake does not make a costly entry eligible. When choosing a casino, availability of the title needs to be separated from permission to use its particular mode with promotional funds.
Additional questions
Why can Money Train 3 have different RTP figures?
Relax Gaming specifies a German configuration with 90% RTP and an alternative with 94%. These describe different product configurations. They do not lower the purchase price to 90 or 94 stakes. Entry cost and return percentage measure different properties.
Does Win Exchange cost money if it does not charge a new deposit?
Yes. In Fireworks Megaways, a payout between 25 and 100 stakes can be exchanged in full for a chance of free spins. With a payout of at least 100 stakes, you can exchange 100 stakes for the series. The entry uses winnings instead of crediting them to the balance, so it is not free.
