Platipus offers several distinct ways to calculate a result. Book of Egypt uses ten paylines and an expanding symbol. Jade Valley holds cash symbols through respins. Princess of Elements pays for eight matching symbols anywhere on its grid. Aztec Tower replaces conventional reels with a climb and a decision about when to collect. Similar themes do not make these games interchangeable.

Book of Egypt expands symbols after the ordinary payout

Book of Egypt was released on 24 May 2018. It has five three-row reels, ten paylines and high volatility. Three or more Scatters trigger ten free spins. A special expanding symbol is randomly selected before the feature starts.

The game first calculates regular combinations. The selected symbol then expands if enough instances are present to pay. For this special calculation, the occupied reels can be non-adjacent, and the award applies across all played lines. Finding one special symbol is not an unconditional instruction to expand every reel.

Scatters can retrigger another ten free spins. The feature keeps the paylines and bet from its triggering spin. This is a recognisable book mechanic, also familiar from Novomatic games. A shared feature concept does not establish identical RTP settings or symbol payouts between different titles.

Great Ocean adds two choices to its free-spin award

Great Ocean uses a 5×3 layout and 25 paylines. Three seashell Scatters open the bonus with eight free spins and a x2 win multiplier. Five shells are then offered, and two can be selected. Their prizes add spins or increase the multiplier.

The feature description gives separate upper values of 33 free spins and a x15 multiplier. One describes the number of rounds, while the other scales their payouts. Landing three or more Scatters during free spins adds another 15 spins. That retrigger does not change the existing multiplier.

The two selections therefore affect more than the initial eight-spin allowance. However, a shell’s artwork does not disclose its prize in advance. The rules do not provide a method for identifying the best choice from its colour or position.

Wealth of Wisdom gives two roaming lions a joint multiplier

Wealth of Wisdom has 25 paylines. Three, four or five Scatters award 10, 15 or 25 free spins respectively. The same Scatter counts add the same number of spins during the feature. Extra Scatters at the trigger thus have a defined effect.

Two Roaming Wilds appear during free spins. Each moves one position between spins and substitutes for regular symbols, but not Scatter or Jackpot. When a lion covers either special symbol, the covered symbol is still counted when checking its payout or feature trigger.

If both Wilds occupy the same position and contribute to a winning combination, that combination pays x10. The multiplier does not automatically apply to all other awards from the spin. For example, an affected award of 2 becomes 20, while a separate award of 1 without the overlapping Wilds remains 1.

The technical sheet distinguishes a 37.80% paying-result frequency in the main game from a 1.03% start frequency for any feature. Those figures describe different events. The stated average of one feature in 97 spins does not schedule a trigger on spin 97. The game also has Minor, Major and Grand jackpot levels.

Jade Valley resets the counter when a new Bonus lands

Jade Valley has five three-row reels and 50 paylines. Six or more Bonus symbols trigger respins. The feature calculates awards by adding the values on held symbols rather than by following the ordinary paylines. Each position spins separately; collected Bonus symbols remain in place.

The round begins with three respins. Any new Bonus restores the counter to three, including when only one attempt remained. Without new symbols, the attempts run out. Filling every position awards Grand. The collected prizes are paid when Grand is achieved or the three attempts are exhausted.

The published sheet expresses jackpot amounts in bets: Mini 1,000, Minor 5,000, Major 25,000 and Grand 100,000. These are the document’s stated values, not euro amounts. The three smaller prizes can be awarded repeatedly within one feature. Locking symbols and renewing attempts explains the structure of Hold and Win; it differs from an ordinary free spin that still pays through lines.

Charge the Reels and Super collect prizes through the middle reel

Charge the Reels was released on 28 May 2026. Its official card specifies three reels and 15 fixed paylines. A Collect symbol on the middle reel gathers cash Bonus symbols from the outer reels. Jackpot levels include a Grand of x10,000.

Gold Stack leads into respins. The central collector stays locked, while new qualifying symbols renew the countdown. A cash symbol carries a prize and Collect gathers it: these symbols have different roles. A displayed amount should not be treated as an independent award without the feature’s collection condition.

Super Charge the Reels followed on 23 July 2026, retaining three reels, Collect and an upgraded respin feature. Its official description states 15 lines, but the specification table lists five. Those two entries conflict. The original game’s line count cannot simply be applied to every Super calculation; the line map of the launched version determines which combinations are assessed.

Three bags and three volcanoes use different respin modifiers

3 Royal Bags Super, released on 20 August 2026, has five reels and 25 lines. Its Collect, Boost and Double bags perform separate jobs. Boost raises grid values, Double multiplies awards, and Collect gathers prizes. Cash symbols stay locked through Hold and Win, while Mystery can reveal an amount, modifier or major prize. A bonus-buy option is offered.

3 Volcanoes Blast, released on 10 September 2026, uses Revive, Multi and Extra instead. Symbols in the middle row activate these functions. The bonus starts with three respins. Revive resets the remaining attempts to three; Multi adds multipliers to positions; Extra enlarges the grid to a 4×5 format associated with an Ultimate jackpot of x2,000.

Collect gathers values and Mystery reveals its result later. Double from the bag game cannot be assigned to the red Multi volcano as though their names described the same rule. Also distinguish a bonus purchase from a normal spin. At a 0.20 stake, a purchase priced at 100 bets costs 20, not 0.20. This is a calculation example, not an advertised purchase price for these two titles.

Princess of Elements pays for eight matches anywhere

Princess of Elements was released on 11 June 2026. Its 6×5 grid pays when at least eight matching symbols appear anywhere. They do not need a single payline or adjacent reels. Paid symbols disappear and new ones drop in, allowing successive payouts within one spin.

Random multipliers range from x2 to x500. Four or more Scatters open 15 free spins. The bonus counter preserves collected multipliers and continues accumulating them. That retained counter belongs to the free-spin feature; it should not be attributed to every later paid spin in the base game.

The game shows why a reel count cannot determine a line count. A large layout can use no conventional line calculation at all. Here the important condition is the number of matching symbols, assessed anywhere on the screen.

Fortune Ways x10 and Aztec Tower change what a round asks you to do

Fortune Ways x10 was released on 21 May 2026 with five reels and 243 ways to win. Bonus symbols carry cash or one of four jackpot prizes, including a x500 Grand. During its seven-free-spin feature, a Bonus symbol activates a multiplier wheel that can reach x10. The title does not mean every base-game win receives that multiplier.

Aztec Tower, released on 18 June 2026, uses ten steps and three difficulty settings: Easy, Medium and Hard. After successful progress, Cash Out collects the current award; continuing risks the round’s accumulated result on the next attempt.

Tower advertises a ceiling of up to x9,155. That is an upper prize, not a typical result for each climb. Manual selection, Random and Autoplay are offered. Automatic selection does not produce a known safe route. Difficulty changes the game’s conditions, while wanting to reach the top does not change the randomly determined outcome.

Each game’s RTP has its own effect on turnover

Published Platipus technical sheets contain materially different RTP figures. Book of Egypt’s sheet specifies a default RTP of 94%. The other games have their own settings. A blanket description such as “slots around 96%” does not provide enough information for comparison. A sheet’s value describes its configuration, not every installation of the same title at every casino.

For turnover of 200 units, theoretical loss at 94% RTP is 12, compared with 9.82 at 95.09%. Turnover adds every stake, including money reused after a payout. A thousand spins at 0.20 produce 200 in turnover even when the original deposit was smaller.

RTP describes long-term return; volatility describes the spread of results. Low volatility in Triple Strike does not promise a winning hand every round. High volatility in a slot does not schedule the next large award. A paying-result frequency also differs from a profit frequency: a small payout can be worth less than the stake paid.

Poker, baccarat and roulette follow separate rules

Triple Strike Poker deals three cards to the player and three to the dealer from one deck. The player’s cards are face up. After assessing the hand, Call continues the round and Fold forfeits Ante. The dealer qualifies with a queen or higher. Against a qualified dealer, a stronger player hand pays Ante and Call at even money. If the dealer does not qualify, Ante wins and Call is returned.

Pair Plus assesses the player’s hand without comparing it to the dealer’s. Its highest straight-flush award pays up to 40 to 1. The two RTP figures therefore refer to different bets. Combining them into one percentage requires accounting for the actual amounts placed on each.

Live Baccarat uses automatic dealing and offers Player, Banker and Tie. The winning side is determined by closeness to nine under baccarat’s fixed rules. Automatic dealing and calculation do not turn this into poker against the dealer. A history of recent hands records past outcomes rather than the next card.

Blazing Roulette’s card dated 21 May 2026 describes live dealers and a European wheel. Once betting closes, up to five numbers receive multipliers from x50 to x750. These boosts apply to selected numbers, not every bet on the table. Their description does not replace the payout schedule for a specific bet such as a colour or straight-up number.

The studio, its licences and its RNG certificate

Platipus dates its business to 2014, when it separated from Miracle Casino and began developing its own portfolio. Its 2018–2019 timeline records six table-game launches. Live roulette followed in 2022–2023. In 2024–2025 the portfolio exceeded 150 titles and a separate aggregator brand, Plati+, launched. The studio now uses the corporate name Platipus Holding.
