Giga Jar review
Push Gaming released Giga Jar on 28 March 2023 as a standalone continuation of Jammin’ Jars ideas. Fruit and jars have icy artwork. Volatility is medium and RTP can be 96.48% or 94.45%; the selected version appears in the user panel and loading screen. The stated theoretical and highest observed wins both equal 10,000x, with no disclosed frequency.
Clusters and Wild Jars
The field holds 49 cells. A win is formed by a group of at least five identical fruits or prize symbols joined edge to edge. Winning symbols vanish, the rest settle downward, fresh ones arrive from the top, and the chain continues until no cluster remains. The value of a win depends on the kind of fruit and the size of the group.
Besides fruit, Instant Prize symbols land on the field: symbols with a ready-made sum. They pay when they join a cluster of five or more, and their values range from 1x to 1,000x. A Wild Jar inside such a cluster counts too, so the jar’s multiplier can multiply the prize sum as well.
The Wild Jar substitutes for all paying symbols. It enters with a multiplier of 1x, and each time it takes part in a winning cluster its multiplier rises by one while the symbol hops to a neighbouring cell. If the jar sits in a cluster, the entire win is multiplied by its current value.
Every three cascades add a jar: the first at three, second at six and third at nine. Three more with three jars fill the Giga Jar meter, twelve in total. Full-ladder frequency and meter carry-over between separate spins are unspecified.
Snowball and Ice Breaker
After two winning cascades, Snowball can trigger on the next cascade that has no clusters. One or two giant paying symbols of 2×2, 3×3 or 4×4 are then added to the field. The giant then disappears, leaving ordinary symbols of the same kind in 1×1 cells where it stood. Giants can be fruit or Instant Prizes, and Wilds underneath stay untouched.
Ice Breaker fires under the same conditions: after two winning cascades, on the next cascade without clusters. It randomly removes one to three kinds of paying symbols from the field, and new ones drop in. The feature touches only paying symbols.
These random helpers are not guaranteed. Their frequencies and giant-size weights are undisclosed; the features themselves do not establish average cascade counts or the chance of another combination.
Giga Jar and six activations
Filling the meter places a 2×2 Giga Jar at a random location: four Wilds with their own multiplier. It pays adjacent symbols for three cascades; the description explicitly guarantees those three wins. It then freezes, and three more cluster wins reactivate it. There are six activations in total: 1x at the first, 5x at the second and 50x at the sixth; levels three to five are unspecified. The feature ends when no clusters remain and the meter does not refill.
Paid Ante Bet fills the first meter so each spin starts with the first jar. The ante charge and stake size are independent settings; the fruit paytable, hit frequency and bonus frequency are undisclosed. A separate bonus buy is not named in the description.
The Jammin’ Jars connection
Jammin’ Jars was released on 18 September 2018: high volatility, 96.83% RTP and a 20,000x maximum. Jammin’ Jars 2, dated 2 June 2021, has high volatility, 96.40% and 50,000x. Giga Jar keeps the cluster foundation and adds the ladder and giant jar.
