PlayOJO review
PlayOJO is a SkillOnNet casino launched in 2017. Its distinctive feature is cash rewards without the usual bonus wagering requirement. The range includes slots, live dealers, crash games and a separate British bingo service. That reward model still comes with identity checks, country restrictions and conditions for individual offers.
The British welcome and international MGA contract use different amounts and rules. The British offer is in pounds; the MGA winning-withdrawal limits are in euros. An English-language account is not automatically British, just as a Russian-language review does not make the casino available in Russia. The international service specifically excludes residents of Russia and Ukraine.
Documents for verification and a first withdrawal
PlayOJO checks your name, birth date, address and ownership of the payment method. Documents can be required after a deposit, before a first withdrawal or later when another check is triggered. An approved passport does not prevent a separate request about a new card or the origin of deposited money.
Use Upload Docs within the account. The international contract accepts documents only through that facility. Replying to a deposit email with attachments is not an alternative submission route. Your account details should match the identification and payment holder. Withdrawal requires at least one successful deposit and approved verification.
| Proof | What counts | File requirements |
|---|---|---|
| Identity | Passport, driving licence or government ID card | Colour, valid, clear photo, signature visible, no cut-off edges |
| Address | Gas, water or electricity bill, or bank statement | Colour, your name and address, company or bank logo, dated within 3 months |
| Bank card | Photo of the card front, once per card | Colour; show only the first 4 and last 4 digits, cover the middle eight |
Document help gives a usual review estimate of less than twelve hours. That concerns checking files, rather than delivering money to your bank. If nothing arrives after forty-eight hours, support can clarify whether the file was received and what is missing.
For a card photograph, leave its first four and last four digits visible and conceal the middle eight. PlayOJO’s requirement differs from casinos asking for six leading digits. A card normally needs confirmation once, but changing the payment method, name or address can require new files.
Source-of-funds checks are separate from address verification. The operator may ask about employment, income and financial circumstances. Evidence identifying an employer and a statement showing money arriving explain different parts of the funding history. Uploading the same passport again does not answer a question about the origin of a deposit. Deposits, play and withdrawals can be restricted during these checks.
Withdrawal timing, winning limits and pending requests
Help says most payments are processed within a few hours, with longer processing where additional information is needed. The casino first approves a request; the bank or payment provider then delivers it. Pending normally means the approval stage has not finished, rather than proof that a transfer has already reached the bank.
For the international MGA service, the maximum winning amount paid out is €10,000 every thirty days, with a €5,000 limit per transaction. Remaining winnings are paid in later monthly instalments. Management can approve higher limits, but this is discretionary rather than an entitlement for every account.
| MGA situation | Published condition | Practical effect |
|---|---|---|
| Ordinary request | A few hours is the processing target | Additional checks can extend the wait |
| €12,000 win | Up to €10,000 every thirty days | The entire win cannot be promised as one immediate payment |
| Single transaction | Up to €5,000 | Splitting requests does not remove the thirty-day cap |
| Win of €5,000 or more, or a jackpot | Additional review may be required | A congratulations message is not payout approval |
A separate jackpot clause allows an additional delay of up to fourteen days for a jackpot of £50,000 or more. That clause uses pounds even though the main withdrawal limits use euros. Its threshold should not silently be rewritten as €50,000.
Keep the request reference, amount, method and submission time. Together they identify whether the delay concerns approval or a transfer already sent. If missing information causes the money to return to the gaming balance, correcting that information needs a new withdrawal request. An unconfirmed deposit can also hold up payment; the contract separately addresses original funding not received within twenty-four hours.
Submit through Withdraw in the account cashier. Email and telephone requests are not valid withdrawal instructions. Payment normally goes back through the depositing method. Deposited money is returned to its original card or wallet first where possible; a method unable to receive withdrawals needs a supported alternative.
The MGA contract sets no general withdrawal minimum. For amounts below €5, however, it reserves the option of paying by cheque. An individual payment method can have its own lower threshold. No general minimum therefore does not promise that every wallet will transfer one cent.
The cancellation descriptions conflict. General terms allow a request to be modified or reversed until processing finishes. Help instead says withdrawal cancellation is prohibited and another request must wait for the current one to finish. Do not rely on an available cancellation button. If payment details are wrong, contact support promptly with the request reference.
When withdrawal fees apply
The international service has three separate charges. They depend on the transfer method and earlier activity, rather than applying equally to every withdrawal.
| MGA fee basis | Amount | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Withdrawal without play | €5 | Applies without prior real-money play |
| Wire transfer | €10; waived for amounts above €500 | A separate bank-transfer surcharge |
| Repeated no-play payments | Bank costs of 15% of the amount | Repeated deposits and withdrawals without commensurate play, or only very-low-risk bets; account closure is also possible |
Cards and online wallets have no ordinary transfer surcharge in the international fee table. That does not cancel the separate €5 clause or transaction-pattern checks. Gambling to avoid a charge neither substitutes for verification nor guarantees withdrawal approval.
A bank fee or currency conversion is another possible cost. A euro gaming balance and a wallet in another currency can produce a difference between the amount sent and received. Distinguish that difference from a PlayOJO deduction: the recipient of the charge and its basis are different.
Depositing, account currency and payment methods
The British welcome starts with a £10 deposit. The international banking page shows a €10 minimum. Its contract’s base minimum for GBP, EUR, USD, CAD, AUD, NZD and CHF is ten units of that currency; SEK and DKK use one hundred units. A method-specific threshold or a personal deposit limit can be more restrictive.
The international contract lists eleven currencies: GBP, EUR, CHF, USD, AUD, CAD, DKK, SEK, NOK, ZAR and RUB. RUB appearing in that list does not make Russian residents eligible. Registration assigns a currency based on the presumed country, while a first deposit in another supported currency updates it to that payment’s currency. There is no ordinary self-service currency switch afterwards.
Maximum deposits depend on the method, account history and personal limits. Funds become available after the provider confirms the payment, rather than merely when your bank displays a notification. Wire transfers differ from immediate methods: the earlier estimate of up to three working days concerns bank-transfer funding, not every deposit.
| Method | Confirmed use | Important distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Visa and Mastercard | Funding and returns to the original card | Bank delivery varies; card repayment is not always possible |
| Skrill, Neteller and Payz | Wallets named in the international contract | Neteller is not universally excluded from withdrawals |
| Trustly and Entercash | Payments within minutes in some countries | Only when additional documents are unnecessary |
| Apple Pay | Mobile funding in supported markets | Needs a compatible device and linked card |
| PayPal | Regional method; earlier British guidance gives £20–5,000 per withdrawal | Not the MGA service’s general euro limit |
| Interac e-Transfer | Canadian payment option | Canadian conditions are not British conditions |
| Wire transfer | Separate bank-transfer route | Delivery and surcharge differ from wallets |
Regional materials also name PaySafeCard, Sofort, MuchBetter and other options. A deposit method does not necessarily support repayment. The account cashier shows the operations available to that account; the contract provides an alternative-payment process where the original method cannot receive funds.
Open banking lets you select your bank and authorise payment in its application without entering a card number. Trustly and TrueLayer appear in payment guides, but they are different providers rather than two names for one service. Successful bank authorisation and a completed casino deposit remain separate transaction states.
The standard rule is to fund using a payment source in your own name. The international contract has a separate procedure for third-party methods, including both holders’ documents and a signed authority. That is not a promise to accept any borrowed payment source. A name mismatch can trigger a review and stop the transaction.
British welcome spins and limits on other rewards
The public British casino welcome gives fifty £0.10 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza after a first deposit of at least £10. Their winnings are cash, with no further wagering and no cap on the winnings themselves. This is a deposit offer: Free does not mean it requires no payment of your own.
Fifty spins have a total stake value of £5, not a guaranteed £5 withdrawal. The slot may return a different amount or nothing. Pragmatic Play makes several Big Bass games, so the exact Big Bass Bonanza title matters. Another edition does not substitute for the assigned welcome game.
The British welcome is for new players who have never deposited. You choose the casino or bingo welcome rather than receiving both, and Northern Ireland is excluded. Spins appear in Rewards and the assigned game. Their use-by date and stake value belong to the actual package issued.
Registration details determine promotional eligibility. Automated checks can reject offers before play begins and communicate the decision by email. A person, household, address, card or shared computer should not be used for repeat welcome accounts. A different name does not necessarily make another account eligible on the same device or address.
No-deposit rewards and the €100 ceiling
MGA policy separately defines a Non Real Account as one without a successful deposit. Free rewards for this account have a €100 maximum winning amount, with excess removed. This is a limit for another reward category, rather than the British first-deposit welcome’s payout ceiling.
When a free-reward balance already exceeds €100, policy requires contacting the casino for adjustment before making the first deposit or continuing play. Depositing does not automatically preserve the excess as unrestricted cash. The list of countries excluded from no-deposit rewards also differs from the list excluded from real-money access altogether.
PlayBooster: a sixty-times requirement
MGA reward policy includes PlayBooster. Its earned reward amount needs sixty-times wagering within thirty days before conversion to cash. A €10 reward needs €600 in qualifying stakes. Turnover describes cumulative stakes rather than a requirement to lose €600, although the funds can run out before completion.
PlayBooster points have their own calculation. EUR, GBP, USD, CAD and AUD earn 0.5 points per unit staked. Points accumulated and cash already available to withdraw are different balances. The general advertising promise of no wagering cannot be applied to this international policy clause.
Reward rules also prohibit minimal-risk betting combinations, multiple accounts used for offers, and depositing only to obtain a gift without intending to risk the deposited funds. Ordinary qualifying play and schemes covering outcomes are treated differently. Rewards and related winnings can be removed for a breach.
OJOplus accrual and redeeming the displayed balance
OJOplus returns part of each cash stake into a separate balance, whether the bet wins or loses. The public British offer lists a 0.06–3% range depending on the game. Its upper rate does not apply to every wager throughout the casino.
The displayed balance has two decimal places, while smaller fractions remain in the underlying calculation. An accrual of €0.003 can leave the display at €0.00. Three such amounts total €0.009, still below one displayed cent. Once the total reaches €0.01, a visible amount becomes redeemable.
Redemption takes the whole displayed balance, not a selected portion. If the underlying total is €0.0199, the display shows €0.01; redeeming that cent leaves €0.0099 counted internally. Rounding therefore does not discard every fraction, but unredeemed OJOplus should not be treated as ordinary cash already in the main balance.
Kickers are personalised offers such as free spins, challenges and tournaments. Earlier daily packages have a twenty-four-hour use period; that does not extend every other gift’s deadline. The Kicker code field during deposit is optional unless a particular offer needs it.
OJO Wheel spins arrive as gifts or rewards for activity milestones. Prize Twister can award cash, free spins, bingo tickets and scratchcards. OJO Levels unlock additional rewards through play. Each item has its own purpose and expiry: a ticket is not cash, and a wheel spin does not guarantee a money prize.
The operator, licences and country restrictions
SkillOnNet Limited operates the casino. The British register gives its head-office address in Limassol, Cyprus. The international contract names Office 1/5297, Level G, Quantum House, 75 Abate Rigord Street, Ta’ Xbiex XBX 1120, Malta. These are company addresses in different documents, rather than evidence of two unrelated PlayOJO owners.
The UK Gambling Commission register number is 39326. Its active remote permissions cover casino from 1 November 2014, software from 11 March 2015 and bingo from 14 February 2020. International terms name MGA/CRP/171/2009/01, issued on 1 August 2018.
The operator has a regulatory history. In May 2023, UKGC announced a £305,150 settlement following anti-money-laundering and player-protection failings, with money directed to socially responsible purposes. A register section covering only the last three years cannot support a claim that the operator has never faced regulatory findings.
The international MGA service excludes residents of Russia, Ukraine, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and numerous other countries. Denmark, Spain, Mexico and Germany’s Schleswig-Holstein state also appear in that list. A separately licensed regional service can operate in a market without making the international account permissible there.
Ontario has separate AGCO and iGaming Ontario arrangements and a minimum age of nineteen. Canada outside Ontario and New Zealand differ from the British service. Swedish, Danish and German versions follow their own local rules. PlayUZU is the regional project name in several Spanish-speaking and Latin American markets, rather than a worldwide PlayOJO permission.
British pound examples do not describe an international account’s euro withdrawal terms. Travel, moving home and address changes matter too: registration details must be genuine, and permitted access depends on the country. Switching language, finding RUB in a currency list or keeping an installed app does not remove a territorial restriction.
SkillOnNet serves several brands, but a shared owner and platform do not make their accounts interchangeable. Money, deposit limits and offer eligibility belong to the particular account. Self-exclusion can cover a wider scope than an ordinary funding limit. For the MGA contract, English prevails over conflicting translations and GMT applies to time references unless otherwise specified.
Deposit controls, Safe Mate and taking a break
International deposit limits can cover a day, week and month. You can use one, two or all three. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately; increasing it requires a twenty-four-hour wait. Setting a limit on one account does not automatically impose the same amount on every SkillOnNet brand.
| MGA control | Available period | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Time reminder | 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes | A notification rather than an enforced stop |
| Cooling Off | 24 hours, 48 hours or seven days | Short break for the selected account |
| Temporary Suspension | Thirty, sixty or ninety days | A longer temporary restriction |
| Self-exclusion | Chosen duration or indefinite | Separate procedure preventing gambling |
| Time restriction | Arranged through support | Can end access at the specified limit |
Deposit and time controls address different problems. Reaching a new-deposit limit does not remove funds already in the account. A reminder tells you the elapsed time, while a session restriction can end access. Lowering the funding cap before a payment is more effective than changing it after the money has been deposited.
Safe Mate appears within the account’s safer-gambling tools. It shows spending, wins, losses and playing time over six months, with a separate four-week trends graph. Daily risk scores use stakes, deposits, withdrawals, session length and the time of day you play.
Its self-assessment lets you estimate time and spending before comparing the answer with account history. That makes a vague feeling of having played little easier to assess against actual amounts. Comparisons with similar players do not establish a safe budget for you. Optional push messages can provide reminders, and Safe Mate availability depends on the market.
International self-exclusion descriptions differ on scope. One clause allows choosing the current account or other accounts under the same licence, while another says exclusion also covers other accounts on that licence. A short account pause should not be assumed to restrict the entire group, and self-exclusion should not be promised to affect only one brand.
During exclusion, deposits and gambling are unavailable, and marketing should stop within twenty-four hours. Support handles returning remaining own funds. A temporary break and self-exclusion have different reopening procedures; automatic return after 180 days is not a promise that applies to every market.
Inactivity charges after six months without access
An MGA account becomes inactive after six consecutive months without access. At least thirty days’ notice should precede the monthly charge. EUR, GBP, USD, CAD, AUD, NZD and CHF accounts pay five units of their account currency monthly: €5 for euros or £5 for pounds, rather than €5 regardless of currency.
The charge reduces remaining money but cannot create a negative debt. Logging in makes the account active again. You can recover the balance by logging in and requesting withdrawal; blocked or excluded customers need support instead. Unredeemed OJOplus is separately removed after 180 days of inactivity. Its removal concerns a different balance and deadline from the main-account fee.
Slots, jackpots and live dealers
The British offer advertises more than 8,000 games. That is an overall catalogue including different categories, not eight thousand slots available identically in every country. The international range also has jackpot and live selections. A game image on the public, logged-out site does not confirm access inside an account for a particular country.
Studios include Games Global, NetEnt, Yggdrasil, Red Tiger, Blueprint, Big Time Gaming, Play’n GO, Push Gaming, Relax Gaming, Playtech and IGT. Megaways changes the number of winning ways on each spin. A larger number of ways is not a guarantee of a payout.
Jackpot selections have included Blueprint’s Jackpot King, IGT Megajackpots and Red Tiger must-drop games. A must-drop limit can concern time or jackpot size, but it does not promise the prize to somebody joining in the final minute. Network and daily jackpots are also different from an ordinary slot’s maximum multiplier.

The crash selection includes Aviator, Big Bass Crash, High Flyer and FlyX from Games Global. Two simultaneous bets and automatic cashout depend on the specific game. A rising multiplier ends at a random crash point; cashout must finish before that point. A £1 minimum or 95% RTP should not be assigned to the entire category.
Live suppliers include Evolution, Pragmatic Play, Playtech and Authentic Gaming. The range covers fast blackjack, roulette and game shows. Studio 21 is a particular Playtech range, rather than evidence that every edition is exclusively available at this casino.
British table examples include roulette from £0.10, ordinary blackjack from £5, lower-stake Speed Blackjack and Blackjack Party from £0.50, and VIP examples with upper limits of £1,000. These are specific-table examples. Doubling, permitted splits and Bet Behind depend on the blackjack edition rather than the casino’s name.
For a full blackjack table, the British Take a Seat feature matches a live seat to the selected provider and minimum stake. It helps find a place without changing the table’s rules or your budget. Higher VIP limits do not require a higher stake.
RTP, game testing and unfinished rounds
PlayOJO describes independent eCOGRA and iTech Labs testing of mechanics, display accuracy, game rules, RNGs and RTP. Its own team then checks a game before adding it, with ongoing monitoring afterwards. Live tables need different checks involving equipment, cards, wheels and recorded rounds.
The security statement describes encryption, access controls, backups, threat detection and updates. Its management framework is aligned with ISO 27001. Alignment is not the same as publishing an ISO 27001 certificate, nor does it confirm the older specific claim of 128-bit SSL.
The fairness description says PlayOJO does not tweak RTP. International terms nevertheless explicitly allow RTP to change and locate the figure in each game’s rules. The practical distinction is that a percentage belongs to a specific game configuration. The same title, or a higher RTP at another casino, does not guarantee the same configuration here.
A 96% RTP is a long-run calculation across many wagers, not a promise to return €96 after your €100 deposit. Deposits and cumulative stakes are different: the same remaining money can fund several rounds. A short session can finish far above or below the long-run average.
Connection failures and unfinished games
An unfinished round can resume after signing back in and opening that game. The MGA contract allows fourteen days to do so. Without returning in time, the game closes and both its stake and potential winnings are forfeited. Starting another slot does not complete the interrupted one.
Operator-side faults have a separate process: restore the game within thirty days or refund the affected stake if restoration is impossible. Where a device display and server record disagree, the contract gives the server record priority. Investigating the result therefore needs the title, time and round identifier rather than only a screenshot of the final window.
Support and the complaint process
The help centre operates around the clock. Live chat is accessed through the account, with availability varying by country. The support email is [email protected]. A telephone mention without a published number is not enough to promise telephone service to every customer.
For a payment question, include amount, method, date and transaction reference. For a game fault, use the game and session identifier from history. Verification files still go through Upload Docs: a conversation can identify what is missing without itself approving a document.
A complaint under the MGA contract should be written, naming the username, full name, problem and event time. The responsible manager is expected to issue a decision within ninety-six hours. That is a complaint-response period rather than a universal four-day bank-delivery deadline.
For an unresolved transaction dispute, eCOGRA is the designated route. There should have been reasonable attempts to resolve it with the casino for at least two weeks, and the event must be less than a year old. The same dispute cannot simultaneously proceed through another ADR body or a court under the same eCOGRA process.
A separate MGA complaint is also possible. Regulation and individual dispute resolution have different functions: investigating a specific transfer is not the same as checking a casino licence. A British account belongs to its British process. The international contract’s ninety-six-hour and two-week periods should not be presented as identical rules for every regional service.
