Space XY review
Space XY is a BGaming crash game released on 13 January 2022. Instead of a plane there is a rocket flying across a chart with coordinate axes: the horizontal axis shows flight time and the vertical axis shows the current multiplier. Your job is to jump off before the rocket vanishes into deep space. The classic crash format is extended with multiple bets per round and automatic cash-out. Its rules have been revised several times; version 1.3, dated 29 July 2024, spells out details few reviews mention, including an RTP range, how winnings are rounded, and when a bet rolls into the next round.
Place Bet, Cashout and two bets
Before each round a countdown runs until launch. During it you choose an amount and press “Place Bet”. A bet placed after launch simply carries over to the next round. The rules add one condition: you can only queue a bet for the next flight if you are not already playing the current one.
Once the rocket launches, the multiplier climbs. To collect, press “Cashout”: your stake is multiplied by the coefficient on screen at that moment. If the rocket disappears first, the stake is lost. The minimum cash-out multiplier is 1.01x.
Multiple bets share one flight; the combined two-bet stake cannot exceed the maximum. Two exits do not insure each other: a crash before the first loses both. Illustratively, one unit each at 1.5x and 5x gives −2 before 1.5x, −0.5 between the targets and +4.5 if both are reached. This calculates payments without assigning outcome probabilities.
Auto cash-out, autoplay and history
Auto cash-out triggers as soon as the rocket reaches your chosen multiplier; you set the value in the box next to Place Bet. Autoplay lets you set a number of rounds and change bets during the countdown. Leave them alone and every automatic round repeats your last amounts. The cross button ends the run. No balance-based stop conditions are described here, so limits are yours to enforce.
All round results appear on a chart, and a leader list shows other players’ names and bets. When someone wins, their bet is replaced by the payout and the winning multiplier appears. Everything is shown in the currency of the original bet, with the original stake currency retained.
History and leaders show past outcomes and other players’ decisions. A certified RNG determines the result; these records do not predict the next crash point. After your cash-out the remaining flight no longer changes your pay. There are no separate reels, symbols or bonus rounds.

RTP range and rounding
BGaming states an RTP of 97.00%. The game rules describe the return as depending on the player’s strategy, so check the exact figures in your operator’s rules. Version 1.3 gives the range precisely: 96.88% to 98.92%, depending on the strategy chosen. How the figures spread across different cash-out targets isn’t disclosed.
The crash-point distribution and target-to-range mapping are undisclosed. A 0.97/M formula assumes equal return across targets and therefore is not the confirmed model of this game. RTP alone cannot establish 2x,10x,100x probabilities, losing-streak lengths or a favourable exit target.
One clause is easy to skip. With bets that include cents and fractional multipliers, winnings are rounded in the house’s favour to the currency’s smallest unit. The rules’ own example is a 10-cent bet cashed out at 1.01x: the payout of 0.101 doesn’t fit two decimal places, and the extra thousandth goes to the operator.
With two decimal places, 0.15 × 1.33 = 0.1995 rounds down to 0.19. Currency precision matters; this rule does not establish a universal favourable minimum target. The upper multiplier is 10,000x, stakes 0.1–100 and volatility high, without supplied maximum odds.
Connections, free rounds and operator conditions
Network speed and quality may affect play; the provider disclaims responsibility for a dropped connection. Auto cash-out is set beforehand, without a described guarantee of payment through every malfunction. Free rounds use the stake level active when credited. A malfunction voids plays and pays; unfinished rounds close every twenty-four hours, and the operator’s licence may disable automated functions.

Other flights and fixed outcomes
Space XY — Studio: BGaming; RTP: 97% (96.88–98.92%); Top multiplier: 10,000x; Stand-out feature: X–Y chart, several bets.
Aviator — Studio: Spribe; RTP: 97%; Top multiplier: Set by operator; Stand-out feature: Provably fair, chat and Rain.
Crash X — Studio: Turbo Games; RTP: 96%; Top multiplier: 999,999x; Stand-out feature: Flexible autoplay.
Aero — Studio: Turbo Games; RTP: 96%; Top multiplier: 999,999x; Stand-out feature: Other players’ planes on screen.
Aviator uses a plane, Crash X a spaceship and Aero other players’ planes. BGaming later released Aviamasters with in-flight multiplier collection and no exit choice. Plinko returns about 99% and changes variance through rows and risk. The crash mechanism differs from the pyramid by requiring an exit before the flight ends.
