Fist of Destruction review
Fist of Destruction arrived from Hacksaw Gaming in February 2024, and the studio bills it as a game you should not mess with. It has five reels of four rows and one big idea: two teams, red and blue, brawl on the reels with Fists. A Fist unfolds into a Wild reel, punches through a fighter of the other colour and picks up a multiplier.
Team colour, punch height and addition
The slot is built as a team fight. Every Fist belongs to the red or the blue team, and the colour shows on the symbol. The fighters on the grid are coloured too. It is you who wins, not a team, but the affiliation affects the multipliers: by the rules they come from fighters of the opposing team and from Wild symbols.
The game runs on five reels of four rows, with wins counted on paylines. The page gives no number of lines, so none is stated. The Wild replaces all paying symbols, and Scatters marked FS start the bonus.
Each reel holds at most one Fist, allowing at most five simultaneously. It expands upward from its starting cell only when the expansion joins at least one winning combination; otherwise it stays an ordinary symbol. A bottom position covers four rows and a top position one cell. Its multiplier applies to wins through that Wild rather than every grid line.
If a Fist on its way up “punches” a fighter of the opposing team or a Wild symbol, a multiplier is added to the Wild reel. It applies to every winning combination the reel is part of. If a Fist has travelled through several fighters, the multipliers are added together. If several Wild reels take part in a combination, their multipliers are summed too before being applied to the win.
Possible values are 2x,3x,4x,5x,6x,7x,8x,9x,10x,15x,20x,25x,50x,100x and 200x. Their frequencies are unavailable; nine consecutive low values do not establish a higher probability for each. 200x limits one listed value rather than establishing the maximum sum of a Fist’s punches.
Take a line win of two bets without multipliers. A Fist unfolds into a Wild reel, passes through two fighters and collects 5x and 10x, so the reel multiplier is 15x. If only it takes part in the combination, the line pays 2 x 15 = 30 bets. Now add a second Wild reel with 3x in the same combination: the multipliers add, 15 + 3 = 18, and the line pays 2 x 18 = 36 bets.
Throwdown! and separate team scores
Three FS Scatters at once in the base game start the Throwdown! bonus with 10 free spins. The base game mechanics stay, but a contest is added: the red and blue teams fight for a victory level. Each team starts at level 3+.
Every time a team’s Fist punches an opposing fighter or a Wild, the team earns one victory point. Three points bring a respin with an Epic Drop and raise the winning team’s level by one. Fists that land during the Epic Drop earn no points. This works as a safeguard against an endless loop: you cannot farm points on the Epic Drop itself.
Illustratively, red punches one blue for a point and blue punches a Wild for its own point. A red Fist then punches two blues: red reaches three points, receives a red Epic Drop and advances 3+→4+. Red’s score restarts while blue retains its own point. Epic Drop punches earn no points. Points count suitable punched symbols rather than merely landed Fists.
| Team level | Fists in the Epic Drop | Share of reels |
|---|---|---|
| 3+ | at least 3 | 60% |
| 4+ | at least 4 | 80% |
| 5+ | 5 | 100% |
The guarantee concerns Fists of the appropriate colour rather than activated full-height Wild-reel counts: winning and starting-position conditions remain. Two advances from 3+ to 5+ require six points for one team. Exactly three, four or five Fists have 10,5 or 1 reel subsets; those counts do not assign layout probabilities.
Ultimate and extensions
Four FS Scatters give the Ultimate Throwdown! with 10 spins as well, but both teams begin at level 4+. So the very first Epic Drop already guarantees at least four Fists. The other rules match the ordinary Throwdown!.
Ultimate is a mode of the same bonus rather than a separate slot. During the bonus two scatters add two spins and three add four. Two four-spin extensions give eighteen from the initial ten; three two-spin extensions give sixteen. Other scatter counts and extension limits are unspecified, so four cannot be called the maximum award of every retrigger.
FeatureSpins and buys
| Mode | What changes | Start |
|---|---|---|
| Base game | Fists appear at random | An ordinary spin |
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins | Five times the bonus chance on every spin | FeatureSpins mode |
| Uppercut FeatureSpins | At least 3 Fists on every spin | FeatureSpins mode |
| Epic Drop FeatureSpins | At least 4 Fists on every spin | FeatureSpins mode |
| Throwdown! | 10 spins, start at level 3+ | 3 Scatters |
| Ultimate Throwdown! | 10 spins, start at level 4+ | 4 Scatters |
BonusHunt increases bonus chance fivefold; Uppercut and Epic Drop guarantee at least three and four Fists per spin respectively. These are distinct properties rather than promises of winning Wild reels. Direct bonus buys are offered, while all mode prices and separate RTPs are absent from the supplied data. bonus buy slots explains buying a round versus altering ordinary spins.
The 10,000x condition and unknown parameters
The rules describe a 10,000x maximum in every mode, including regular play: a bottom-row Fist on each of five reels must punch opponents or Wilds with a combined multiplier of at least 72x. For example,25+20+10+10+7=72. This needs no 200x on every reel. The total includes all qualifying combinations and bonus pays rather than one line; reconstructing exactly 10,000x requires the full line map and paytable.
The maximum is described as less likely in regular play, but its numeric frequency is a placeholder in the rules. RTP,volatility, stakes, line count, bonus frequency and cap termination are undisclosed. specs explainer explains the metrics; missing information does not mean zero return. Read active values in the particular version’s information panel.
Release context and neighbouring fights
February 2024 also brought Beam Boys with a kitten, volatility switch and 12,500x ceiling. Both use comic characters, while here punches assemble the multiplier. The catalogue lists Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier at 15,000x and 96.23% RTP; its name alone does not establish new rules. Duel at Dawn also centres on opposing sides. The catalogue is on Hacksaw Gaming.
