Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier review
Fist of Destruction Megamultiplier is a new Hacksaw Gaming release from 17 September 2026. This new version of Fist of Destruction is built around the Megamultiplier mechanic. A 5×4 grid pays on lines, and the action centres on fists that turn into Wild reels and build multipliers by punching opponents. Its standout twist is the chance of landing the maximum win instantly on a single spin. The original’s two bonus rounds are joined by two more with a global multiplier on every spin, and the cap rises to 15,000x.
Team colours and upward punches
Red and blue teams appear in anime and comic style, with masks and headbands against neon purple and lightning. A fist earns a multiplier only for an opposing fighter or Wild: a fighter of its own colour adds nothing.
Fist symbols expand into Wild reels when they form part of a win. The exact rule is that a fist activates only if the expanded reel would be part of at least one winning combination. The expansion runs from the fist’s position up to the top of the reel. That detail matters. From the bottom row it covers all four cells, while from the top row it stays a single cell with nobody to punch.
From the second row up a fist covers three cells; from the third it covers two. Without a winning combination, expansion does not activate. Only one fist can land on a reel; it substitutes for paying symbols, as does the regular Wild, which is also a punch target. Line pays scale with the bet and appear in the rules.
Every opposing fighter or Wild a fist passes through adds a multiplier to that reel. The possible values are 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x and 200x. A fist that travels through several fighters adds their values together. When a win includes more than one fist reel, those totals are added too before being applied.
The number of values in the ladder does not reveal their probabilities: punch weights and activation frequencies are not given.
The instant maximum and four bonuses
Megamultiplier symbols work separately. If three land at the same time, the max win is awarded straight away. The rules add that they can only land on reels 1, 3 and 5, so an instant max needs exactly one on each of those reels in the same spin.
A single Megamultiplier alongside FS symbols unlocks enhanced versions of the bonuses. The symbol can appear during regular play and during BonusHunt FeatureSpins. It does not produce an instant max inside the free spins rounds, and one or two of them on their own do nothing.
The instant award ends the round; reaching the cap by another route also ends it. The rules describe fists in the bottom row of all five reels punching opponents or Wilds to total at least 72x and reach the maximum through paylines. The maximum is possible in all modes, including base play; the build displays its odds as “1 in N”, with no numerical value available here.
Throwdown — Trigger: 3 FS; Spins: 10; Start level: 3+; Global multiplier: none.
Throwdown Megamultiplier — Trigger: 3 FS + 1 Megamultiplier; Spins: 10; Start level: 3+; Global multiplier: x2–x10 each spin.
Ultimate Throwdown — Trigger: 4 FS; Spins: 10; Start level: 4+; Global multiplier: none.
Ultimate Throwdown Megamultiplier — Trigger: 4 FS + 1 Megamultiplier; Spins: 10; Start level: 4+; Global multiplier: x2–x10 each spin.
In enhanced rounds the global multiplier takes a fresh random value each spin, does not build across the round and applies after fist-adjusted line pays: all wins on that spin add together before multiplication. Victory Points and Epic Drops remain in place.
Victory Points and Epic Drop levels
During free spins each punch through an opposing fighter or Wild scores a point for the fist’s team. Three points unlock an extra Epic Drop respin with at least three fists in that team’s colour in Throwdown and four in Ultimate Throwdown. After the respin that team’s level increases by one: 4+ guarantees at least four fists and 5+ five. Fists in Epic Drop itself score no points. A fist’s position still determines how many cells it replaces; five fists do not automatically mean five full Wild reels without the expansion requirement.
The description retains bonus extensions from extra FS symbols. The original lists +2 spins for a pair and +4 for three, but exact counts for the new build are not separately confirmed.
Buys, FeatureSpins and related games
Throwdown and Ultimate Throwdown can be bought directly; a bought round can become its Megamultiplier version. BonusHunt FeatureSpins raises bonus chances fivefold, Uppercut guarantees at least three fists per spin and Epic Drop at least four. These are paid spins, not guaranteed wins. Each option’s price and RTP are listed separately in the build’s rules; numerical comparisons are unavailable here.
Hacksaw rates the risk 5 out of 5. Alongside the standard build, RTP versions of 94.29%, 92.28% and 86.28% exist; these figures do not predict a short session’s outcome.
The original Fist of Destruction uses the same teams, fists and levels but has two bonuses and a 10,000x cap; this version adds two enhanced rounds and three FeatureSpins modes. Wanted Dead or a Wild also adds Wild multipliers on a line. Chaos Crew 2 offers comparable risk with a different setting; the safari slot Great Game Serengeti came out a week earlier.
