FRKN Bananas review

FRKN Bananas is Hacksaw Gaming’s banana revolution in Peelington. The 6×5 grid pays on lines, and Spreading Banana is a multiplier Wild: copies travel left along a row or up a reel. BANANZA! strengthens ordinary spreading; BANANA BLITZ! adds sticky positions and Go Bananas copying.

Spreading requires a winning combination

A Spreading Banana points either left or up. When it lands, additional bananas spread out from it in the direction of the arrow. Up, the banana spreads along its own reel to the edge of the grid, and left it spreads along its own row to the edge.

The spreading happens only if the bananas would join at least one winning combination. If no win would result, the banana stays single. The rules add two prohibitions: a banana pointing up cannot land on the first row, and a banana pointing left cannot land on the first reel. Otherwise they would have nowhere to spread.

Each Spreading Banana shows its value right after landing, before it spreads. The list of values: 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 75x and 100x. Every copy created by spreading takes the same value as the original banana.

Bananas replace paying symbols. Several bananas on a winning line add their values, including copies. An illustrative horizontal row of six 10x bananas gives a 60x line multiplier if that line follows the entire row. At 100x each it would be 600x. This boosts the underlying combination pay rather than pays that stake multiple by itself.

An upward spread can fill five positions of one reel, but one line passes through a single position on that reel. The sum of all five vertical bananas therefore is not one line’s multiplier. A full horizontal row needs the far-right reel, and a full column the lowest position. Actual contribution depends on line routes and other symbols; line count and routes are not listed.

Two bonuses and fresh value draws

Three FS Scatters open BANANZA! with ten spins, improving the chance of large multipliers and favourable spread positions. Four FS open BANANA BLITZ!, also with ten: Sticky Banana stays through the round but receives a fresh random multiplier from the shared set on each spin. Its position persists while its number can rise or fall.

Two new FS add two spins and three add four. Three four-spin retriggers give ten plus twelve, or twenty-two; this is chosen arithmetic rather than a maximum length or retrigger frequency. Sticky positions continue in remaining spins, while temporary copies do not carry into the next one.

Go Bananas: copy count and overlap

Go Bananas fires at once when at least one sticky Banana is on the grid. The symbol reveals a number from 3 to 10, and that many copies are created from every sticky Banana. The copies appear in random positions, they are Wild multipliers and take the same value as the original. If two copies coincide, their values add.

Three sticky bananas and a three create nine copies, not necessarily nine distinct occupied cells. Five sticky bananas and a ten create fifty copies across a thirty-position grid. Some positions are already excluded, making overlap inevitable at that count. Coinciding copies add values for the current spin; this is neither a stored cash balance nor a guarantee that every copy joins a winning line.

Besides the restrictions on the first row and first reel, the rules list a few more. Copied Bananas cannot land on sticky Bananas, on the Go Bananas symbol or on an FS Scatter in the BANANA BLITZ! bonus. The Go Bananas itself is not a Wild.

Go Bananas itself is not a Wild and cannot activate without a sticky banana. It and its temporary copies disappear after the spin. Distinguish original Spreading Banana travel from random sticky-banana copies: the former depends on direction and a win, the latter on Go Bananas’ number and allowed positions.

FeatureSpins and the all-mode maximum

FeatureSpins modes sit alongside the bonuses. BonusHunt makes each spin five times likelier to trigger a bonus, while Spread ‘Em guarantees two or more Spreading Bananas per spin at the price of no FS Scatters. Prices are not listed in the rules.

Spread ’Em guarantees bananas rather than a winning spread, and disables FS. BonusHunt changes the entry chance without guaranteeing a trigger. bonus buy explains enhanced spins; these modes do not establish a direct purchase of a particular bonus. RTP, volatility, stake limits, feature frequencies and the ordinary paytable are unspecified. slot glossary explains terminology.

The 10,000x maximum is available in every mode, including base play; its probability and early-stop behaviour are unspecified. A multiplier sum cannot be divided into the payout limit to derive “rows needed for the maximum”: it acts on the unknown combination value rather than the stake. Twelve values do not determine an average multiplier without each outcome’s probability.

Chaos Crew 2 and Joker Bombs also use multipliers. FRKN Bananas differs through cell-based value spreading and line addition; the studio catalogue is Hacksaw Gaming. Comparing features establishes neither relative RTP nor large-win frequency, and unknown metrics cannot be replaced with neighbouring games’ figures.
