Ze Zeus review
Hacksaw Gaming’s Ze Zeus connects cluster wins to a separate reveal phase. On the 6×5 grid a win lights Divine Squares; the Hand of Zeus reveals coins, Zap lightning and Vessels of Wealth. After multiplication and collection, values can reveal again. Bonuses change square persistence and guaranteed activation.
Super Cascades and post-win squares
Clusters consist of matching symbols; minimum group size and pay coefficients are unspecified. Wild replaces paying symbols and FS triggers bonuses. Super Cascades removes every ordinary symbol of a winning type, including those outside the winning group, then refills vacancies. Divine Squares light behind winning symbols: removal of the other same-type symbols does not independently establish highlighting at their positions. cluster pays explains groups.
After a win, the squares behind the winning symbols light up as Divine Squares. While no Hand of Zeus is on the grid, they just sit there. If the Hand is present, then once all wins are finished it activates the highlighted squares, and each reveals a bronze, silver or gold coin. Some squares may show a Vessel of Wealth or a Zap of Zeus instead.
Coins, Zap and Vessel order
| Coin | Possible values | Number of values |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x | 6 |
| Silver | 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x | 4 |
| Gold | 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x | 5 |
Once all symbols are revealed, the Zap of Zeus symbols fire. Each multiplies every coin and every Vessel of Wealth already lying on adjacent squares, and the multiplier is 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x.
Vessels fire after all coins are revealed and all Zaps have acted. Each Vessel collects the values of all coins and other vessels and stores their total. The activation order is top to bottom and left to right. When the last vessel has finished, all other Divine Squares activate again and reveal new symbols. The process repeats.
At the end all coins and vessels are added up and multiplied by the bet. The mechanic works like a loop: reveal, multiply, gather, reveal again. It can repeat while unactivated squares remain, and it is in this chain that the largest sums are built.
An intermediate collection illustration uses coins 2x, 1x, 10x, 5x, 50x and 25x. A 3x Zap beside 50x and 10x gives 150x and 30x; a 2x Zap beside 2x and 25x gives 4x and 50x. Non-adjacent 1x and 5x remain, totalling 150+30+4+50+1+5 = 240x. A vessel stores that collection before other squares reveal again. The 240x is not a guaranteed final feature payout: later reveals and other vessels change the sum.
Bonuses change how long squares persist
What If Zeus Was One of Us? — Scatters: 3; Spins: 8; Squares: Stay until activated by the Hand; Trait: Upgrades to Take the Wheel on 4 Scatters.
Take the Wheel — Scatters: 4; Spins: 12; Squares: Stay for the whole bonus; Trait: Retriggers +2 and +4.
Might Superstar — Scatters: 5; Spins: 12; Squares: Stay for the whole bonus; Trait: Hand on every spin, no bronze coins.
In What If Zeus Was One of Us? squares persist between free spins until the Hand activates them. Two FS add two spins, three add four; four upgrade to Take the Wheel and add four. Take the Wheel retains squares throughout the round even after activation, allowing another reveal on later spins. Its two- and three-FS retriggers are the same.
Might Superstar preserves squares, guarantees a Hand each spin and excludes bronze coins. The smallest allowed coin is 5x, but not every square becomes a coin: Zap and Vessel also exist. Eight activated squares therefore do not guarantee 40x. Two illustrative four-spin retriggers turn eight initial spins into sixteen or twelve into twenty; these illustrate length rather than frequency or a limit.
FeatureSpins and maximum
BonusHunt raises bonus chance fivefold; Mighty guarantees a Hand of Zeus each spin. Mode prices are unspecified, and a guaranteed Hand guarantees neither Divine Square count nor a particular prize. free spins explains free rounds. RTP, volatility, stake limits, frequencies and metal probabilities are undisclosed; the arithmetic mean of a value list is not an average prize.
The 10,000x maximum is available in base play and every bonus; probability is not given. Twenty 500x coins already equal the limit arithmetically without Zap or vessels, so those features are not established as mandatory for the maximum. Their example describes a way of accumulating rather than the exclusive route. Early termination at the limit and ordinary unactivated-square persistence between paid spins are unspecified.
Other Zeus games and the separate reveal phase
The studio’s July and August 2026 round-ups mentioned Supreme Zeus and Epic Ze Zeus; the latter returns Divine Squares and Zap with an advertised 50,000x maximum. Zeus Ze Zecond arrived on 12 February 2026 with a 20,000x limit and Wonder Reveal. These develop the theme rather than establish a shared maths configuration.
Gates of Olympus has a 6×5 grid paying symbols anywhere, 96.5% RTP and a 5,000x limit; the comparison lists the same RTP and 15,000x for Gates of Olympus 1000. Wisdom of Athena also uses the classical theme. Here prizes reveal in a separate phase after clusters, while Olympus drops and adds multipliers during cascades. Other games are at Hacksaw Gaming.
