Bounty Hunters review
Bounty Hunters came out on 11 July 2023 and carried on Nolimit City’s western line. The 5×3 game is built around the nudge mechanic: a wide Wild slides along its reel until fully visible and gains a multiplier with every step. Its two bonuses, Raid Spins and Showdown, look like a board game of coins, Hunters and Bosses.
xNudge and the Mexican Standoff
The key symbol is a Wild three rows tall, found on reels 2, 3 and 4. If only part of it enters a reel, it slides up or down until the whole reel is covered. Every nudge step adds +1 to its multiplier, and the multipliers of several such Wilds are summed.
Each nudge adds one to the Wild’s starting multiplier, whose initial value is unspecified in the description. Two nudges therefore cannot automatically be treated as a final 2x. Scatters appear on reels 2–4; bonus symbols on the first and fifth, with central positions also allowed in the standoff. Ordinary symbol values and the line or ways count are not listed.
The feature starts when bonus symbols land on reels 1 and 5 on the same row. The game awards a respin on exactly that row and switches off the other rows. Every bonus symbol turns into a sticky Wild with a 6x multiplier. If a Bounty Hunter Wild lands during the standoff, it behaves the same way: sticky, with a 6x multiplier.
The multipliers from the sticky Wilds are multiplied into the win multiplier. New bonus symbols landing during the standoff award extra respins, act as Wilds from the next respin and stay sticky until the feature ends. Put simply, the standoff turns one row into a corridor with two strong Wilds at its ends, and the game looks for combinations in between.
Raid Spins: new figures extend the round
A trio of Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 opens Raid Spins. The screen rearranges: a 4×5 field in the middle takes Thugs and Bosses, five-row reels flank it, and a row of four cells runs underneath. Each of the three sides gets a Hunter.
The mode begins with three spins. The counter returns to three every time a new Thug or Boss lands on the field. One good spin therefore extends the bonus, while a run of empty spins closes it quickly. Thugs start with coin values from 1 to 25.
A Hunter grabs the coin of the nearest Thug or Boss horizontally or vertically. The collected value is multiplied by the Hunter’s multiplier and the result is added to the overall win multiplier. If a Hunter stands in front of a Thug, that Thug is collected and marked dead. Otherwise the Thug moves on to the next spin with its coin.
A Hunter’s multiplier grows by +1 after every collection and cannot exceed 12x. For the left and right Hunters it resets to 1x if nothing is collected during a spin. For the bottom Hunter it never resets. An illustration: a Hunter at 1x collects a coin of 10, which adds 10. On the next spin the multiplier is 2x, a coin of 5 is collected and adds another 10. The two spins contribute 20 together.
A new Thug or Boss restores the counter to three. Three subsequent spins without a new figure reduce it to two, one and zero. No collection by a side Hunter resets that Hunter on the current spin, even after a successful previous spin. The bottom Hunter retains its boost. Collection and new arrival are separate events: the former changes payout, the latter extends the round.
Bosses and the central Hard Honcho
A Boss starts with a coin value from 1 to 5. Bosses receive their behaviour in the order they land, row by row and reel by reel. Boss 1 adds the coins of all Thugs and Bosses in the spin to its own. Boss 2 adds its own value to every Thug’s coin. Boss 3 randomly picks a group of Thugs of one category and multiplies their coins by 2x, 3x, 4x and so on, growing by 1 with each Thug picked.
For example, if Boss 3 picks three Thugs, they get 2x, 3x and 4x in random order. The order does not change the sum of multipliers, but it decides which Thug ends up the most valuable.
The bigger bonus starts when the bonus symbols sit on one row together with three Scatters. The play area becomes a central 5×5 field, five-row reels flank it and a row of five cells runs underneath. There is again one Hunter per side.
In the centre stands the Hard Honcho Boss, with 12 Thugs arranged around it in a diamond: eight touching it and four on the outer positions. The boss value starts at 6x. It behaves like one of the three ordinary Bosses, and that behaviour can change from spin to spin. When Hard Honcho is collected, the empty diamond places are refilled with new Thugs. As in Raid Spins, the counter begins at three spins and resets when a new Thug appears.
Boost order changes cash collection: the same sum of multipliers does not mean the same coin total when starting values differ. Hard Honcho’s behaviour can change between spins, so its opening value is not a fixed outcome. Boss-behaviour probabilities and cash-value distributions are unspecified.
Four purchases and xBet
Nolimit Bonus sells Raid Spins for 100x, Mexican Standoff for 136x, Lucky Draw for 175x and Showdown for 850x. Lucky Draw’s rules and separate buy RTPs are unspecified. Regular stakes are €0.20–€100, purchases up to €100 and xBet up to €300. bonus buy slots compares paid entries.
The sheet describes xBet as a surcharge on the bet that raises the probability of triggering the various features. The payout of each symbol does not change. The studio calls the surcharge 300%, yet the maximum bet with xBet is listed as 300 euro against 100 euro without it. The two figures do not match, so check the exact multiplier in the game itself.
No separate xBet RTP is given; more frequent features alone do not establish value for the surcharge. Bonus-return contribution and overall trigger rate do not determine an individual buy’s RTP: they blend different natural modes. Comparing Showdown’s price with a blended bonus average therefore does not measure its value.
Return, frequencies and stopping at the maximum
Standard RTP is 96.07%, DX1 94.14%, DX2 92.18% and German DX4 87.17%. Base play contributes 66.05 percentage points and bonuses 30.02 on the standard build. Volatility is very high. Hit rate is 27.16%, a bonus averages one per 180 spins and a 100x win one per 671. These are averages rather than a schedule or guaranteed session wait. guide to reading slot specs explains the parameters.
A round’s total win is limited to 52,310x: exceeding it ends the round and pays the limit. The sheet’s probability of about one in 29 million spins refers to 96.10% rather than the listed 96.07% standard build; this discrepancy is unresolved. Hunters and Bosses explain large collections without establishing the exclusive route to the maximum.
Tombstone: No Mercy has a 50,000x limit and Deadwood 13,950x. Bushido Ways xNudge places a shifting Wild in another theme. The catalogue is Nolimit City. Sharing xNudge connects features without making these games’ cash bonuses identical.
