True Grit Redemption review
True Grit Redemption came out on 21 December 2021, with the demo opening the evening before. The sequel, True Grit Redemption 2, came out on 26 May 2026 with a 34,000x cap. The studio describes the premise like this: a mission of vengeance turns into a harrowing journey in which the crew’s grit is tested, the stakes are high and the guns are blazing. The mood is dirty and cold: a snowbound road, faces without smiles, and several mechanics hanging on the field that other Nolimit City games usually offer one at a time.
Two field zones and transformations
The studio labels the field 6×5. Upper and lower zones in a column interact: a matching symbol above and beneath becomes Wild through Wild Transform, without a special symbol or Scatter. Pays use xWays, with the exact path count unspecified. The regular paytable and individual transformation frequencies are unpublished.
Reel Split acts differently. It doubles all symbols above it on the main reel, then vanishes, and the lower part of the reel collapses, revealing new symbols. The effect is twofold: more identical symbols and an extra chance at the next combination within the same spin. Transform ’em adds a third trick: all symbols of one type turn into one and the same symbol, for example every character becoming the same hero.
The lower-field xNudge Wild shifts into full view, adding one to its own multiplier per step. Its starting value is unspecified. Nudging depends on its position rather than preceding losing spins; a full column joins every path through it without guaranteeing a win.
A regular xWays reveals two or three identical symbols, and Infectious xWays goes further. If the revealed symbol is already on the field, every such symbol is “infected” and expands too, as if it were xWays, creating extra ways to win. The official mechanics text calls Infectious xWays a symbol that affects all symbols of the revealed type and multiplies them for big wins.
Grit Girl and two expanding bonuses
Grit Girl is a separately paid Scatter from three reels: a base 25x, 500x on four, with a possible extra multiplier whose size and frequency are unknown. It needs no left-to-right path and its pay alone does not establish free-spin entry. These texts do not separately identify the triggering Scatter’s artwork.
Three triggering Scatters give 8+ Torture Spins, opening blocked regular-play positions for the whole bonus. Four give 10+ Dead Spins with the same expansion and an explicitly named sticky multiplier Wild in the lower-right corner. The “+” allows more spins but precise additions are undisclosed. The first mode cannot be assigned the sticky corner by analogy alone.
Two builds, frequencies and the limit
TrueGrit and TrueGritDX1 have 96.11% and 94.04% RTP, selected by the operator. The main build’s return split is 62.46 points from regular play and 33.65 from the bonus. Volatility is Extreme (10), while 19.84 is an indicator on a different scale rather than a score out of ten. The 24.36% paid-spin share includes payouts below the stake.
Frequencies from ten billion simulated spins are about 1:214 for the bonus and 1:1,474 for a 100x-or-larger pay. These are average rates rather than a schedule. The overall 20,220x limit is estimated at about 1:6,000,000 rounds; exceeding it ends the round at the capped pay. A sticky Wild does not establish the sole route to the maximum total.
Nolimit Bonus costs 69–669 base stakes, without individual variant prices or buy RTP; availability depends on market. Comparing this with an “80-stake waiting cost” requires additional conditions: regular-play RTP contribution is not a bonus-free segment’s conditional return. Mode-specific frequencies and typical payouts are also unknown.
