Blood Suckers review
Blood Suckers is a NetEnt vampire slot that has stayed in casino lobbies largely thanks to one of the highest RTPs among popular games. NetEnt’s own game card dates it to 2009. Vampires, garlic, holy water and a crucifix fill the reels against the backdrop of a gloomy gothic castle. You get a standard 5×3 layout and 25 paylines. Simple as the mechanics are, you get both tripled free spins and a separate pick-style bonus game, and pairing a 98% return with frequent small wins turned it into a flagship of NetEnt’s low-risk range.
Twenty-five lines: line stake and total stake
NetEnt released the game in 2009. Its 5×3 board has twenty-five permanently active lines, read left to right. Only the longest match pays on a given line; wins on separate lines add together. Total bets are 0.25–50, and line stakes 0.01–2. Ordinary symbol awards use the line stake; the complete set of coefficients is not listed here.
At a total bet of one, the line stake is 0.04: a coefficient of twenty pays 0.80, and one hundred pays four. Paytable numbers cannot be multiplied directly by the total bet. For comparison, one hundred line bets across nine lines would equal 100/9 total bets, but line count alone does not establish hit frequency.
Wilds and Scatters use different awards
Scatters and Bonus symbols are the only ones the Wild can’t replace. It does more than complete lines: several Wilds in a row form their own paying combination. So a line made entirely of Wilds can beat the same line completed with a low symbol.
One Wild can belong to several lines; it neither expands nor becomes sticky. Two Scatters anywhere already pay from the total bet. Three or more additionally award ten free spins. Slower remaining reels after two Scatters provide a suspense animation rather than an extra award.
Ten free spins with tripled pays
The triggering stake and all twenty-five lines carry into the feature. Every award, including Scatter pays, is tripled; the total is credited at the end. Three or more new Scatters extend the round, but the added spin count is unspecified. There is no feature choice, growing multiplier or Wild retention.
An illustrative calculation at bet one: ten line bets pay 0.40, then 1.20 after tripling; two lines at twenty-five line bets each pay 2×1×3 = six. If a hypothetical Scatter combination pays two total bets, it becomes six after tripling; this does not claim an actual Scatter coefficient. Dead or Alive uses 2x and sticky Wilds in free spins, a different mechanic whose rules do not transfer here.
The crypt: one picking feature per spin
Vampire Slaying Bonus needs at least three adjacent Bonus symbols on one line, starting from the leftmost reel, rather than three anywhere. Only one crypt can open per spin. The player opens coffins: a vampire is staked and awards coins to Total Bonus, while bats end the picks. The accumulated prize adds to the triggering spin’s win.
Coin values, outcome probabilities and the crypt’s share of RTP are undisclosed. Closed coffins reveal no information for calculating a winning pick; the description also does not establish when hidden outcomes are determined.
RTP and sequels
The catalogue lists 98% RTP, a 45% hit rate and low volatility at 2.7 on Evolution’s scale. over the long run concerns long-run return. Hits include awards below the stake;45% establishes neither feature nor ceiling frequency. One catalogue value does not prove that no other builds exist; the active percentage appears in the game help.
The 900x ceiling equals 225 at bet 0.25 or 45,000 at fifty. An exclusive free-spin route and early termination at the limit are unestablished. Blood Suckers 2 arrived on 11 October 2017 and added Blood Rose; the main numerical differences appear below.
